Export clearance in China
The export declaration is filed at the Shenzhen port of loading, with the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin issued in the exporter name you require.
Import customs, duties and taxes
The destination customs entry, duty and import taxes are handled through our freight partners and folded into the quoted price. Duty rates depend on the HS code of the packaging and the destination country, so we confirm them on the quote rather than after arrival.
Delivery to your door
The final leg is a booked delivery to the warehouse address you give us, not a port or a terminal. You receive the tracking, the delivery window and the loading photos taken when the container left the factory.
Why Buyers Choose DDP Instead of FOB or CIF
One landed price, decided before you order
On FOB and CIF, duty, import VAT and the destination charges land on you once the goods arrive, and the final number is unknown at the time you commit. On DDP those costs are inside the quote, so your landed cost is fixed before production starts.
No customs broker or importer setup required
If you do not import regularly, setting up a customs broker, a bond and an importer account is real work and real cost. On DDP the entry is arranged for you, which is why smaller brands and first-time importers usually prefer it.
No surprise invoices after delivery
The classic first-order shock is a duty or terminal fee invoice arriving after the cartons do. Because DDP puts those charges in the quoted price, there is nothing left to invoice you for once the pallet is signed for.

What "DDP" actually means in a packaging order
DDP is the Incoterm for Delivered Duty Paid. In practice it means the seller is responsible for getting the goods to the buyer's named place, with export clearance, the destination customs entry, duties and import taxes all settled by the seller. The buyer takes delivery without touching a customs declaration.
That is the opposite end of the scale from EXW, where the buyer collects from the factory and handles everything. FOB and CIF sit in the middle: on FOB the seller clears export and loads at the port, on CIF the seller also pays freight and insurance, and in both cases the buyer still deals with destination customs and duties.
Why duty is quoted, not guessed
Import duty is calculated from the HS code of the goods and the destination country's tariff schedule, and rates move when trade policy moves. We do not publish a flat figure, because a flat figure would be wrong for most buyers. Instead we confirm the HS code, the destination and the current rate at the time of quotation, and show it as a line in the landed cost.
The same applies to import VAT or sales tax and to destination terminal charges: they are destination-specific, so they belong in a quote for your address rather than in a generic table.
Air or sea: matching the mode to the deadline
For a launch or a restock that cannot wait, air freight moves the shipment in days; for a full production order where cost per carton matters more than speed, sea freight is the economical choice. Both can run on DDP terms.
