Core Structure
One-Piece Fold & Lock Construction
A one-piece folding box starts as a single die-cut blank. Pre-scored creases create the body panels and lid, while tuck-in flaps, interlocking tabs or a mailer lock close the box without tape. The result is a clean, rigid carton that still ships flat.
Design Points
Keep crease positions away from printed folds and locking tabs; leave 0.5-1mm tolerance on tuck flaps so the box closes firmly without bulging; choose a mailer lock or tuck-end based on whether the box is reused or sealed once.
